Syfy’s fall programming scedule was announced yesterday and it included details of its co-production with Sky TV, Neverland, an original prequel to author J.M. Barrie’s classic tale, Peter Pan. The Brit-packed, star studded cast features Rhys Ifans as James Hook, Keira Knightley as The Voice of Tinker Bell, Anna Friel as Captain Elizabeth Bonny, Oscar nominee Bob Hoskins as Smee, and Charlie Rowe as the boy who refused to grow up, Peter Pan.

The 4-Hour movie event will arrive on our TV screens this December in two parts. Part one will air Sunday, December 4 at 9PM with part two on the following evening, December 5 at 9PM (ET/PT). The fantasy adventure will tell the never-before-told story of how Peter Pan became the Boy Who never grew up. Set at the turn of the century the story follow an orphaned Peter as he survives as a young pickpocket on the streets on London. It is here that he is rounded up by Jimmy Hook to steal a priceless and magical treasure which transports them to another world.
